Your missions As a member of the SPI team, a small team with an entrepreneurial spirit, you will contribute to the digital transformation of process innovation. Your main responsibilities will include:
CFD simulation: develop and run simulations of cosmetic manufacturing processes (mixing of high-viscosity fluids, heat transfer, flow in filling lines, particle dispersion, emulsification).
Data analysis: analyze and interpret results, correlate them with experimental data and make recommendations to optimize processes.
Optimization through experimentation: compare your results with pilot-scale or industrial-scale trials, working with process engineers and R&I scientists.
Methodologies: help improve simulation methods (meshing, validation, post-processing scripts).
Collaboration: present your findings to varied audiences (chemists, process engineers, production teams).
Your profile
You are enrolled in a Master 1 or Master 2 program (engineering school or university), looking for a gap-year or final-year internship, with a specialization in numerical simulation, fluid mechanics or process engineering (to be validated) .
CFD experience with software such as StarCCM+, Comsol or Ansys Fluent.
Eagerness to learn through numerical simulation and physical experimentation.
Entrepreneurial spirit.
Fluent in English and French.
