Skincare brands drove online popularity of Unilever in H1 2026

I partnered with Spate, the leading AI-powered consumer trend intelligence platform, to do a deep dive of the online popularity of beauty groups in H1 2026 across TikTok, Instagram and Google.

Unilever saw the combined popularity of all its beauty brands grow 8% in H1 2026 reaching 4.4bn making it the 4th largest listed beauty group by online popularity.

Out of its top five brands by online popularity four were skincare brands and they all grew double digits. Vaseline topped the ranking, representing 27% of the total group online popularity and growing 15% year-over-year. Dove followed concentrating 22% of the total group online popularity with a 13% year-on-year growth. Pond’s in third place generated a smaller 13% of the group online popularity but was the fastest growing of the top ten with Paula’s Choice, both brands growing 21% year-over-year.
