Results season for beauty groups is underway. Hong Kong retailer Sa Sa opened it this week, with sales up 22.9% year-on-year. L’Oréal will reports on July 29th while Ulta Beauty will close the season on August 27th. In between, more than thirty listed brand operators, retailers, and fragrance and flavor houses will publish their numbers. The full calendar is below with dates estimated from last year for the group that did not publicly announce the release yet.

A few reference points from last quarter: 14 of 22 listed brand operators posted sales growth, with a weighted average growth of 4.2%, the same growth rate than for fragrance and flavour houses, while every listed retailer grew, averaging 5%.
One of the key topic for the quarter will be China. L’Oréal and Estée Lauder showed first signs of recovery in mainland China in early 2026. The 618 shopping festival happened during Q2 and it will be the clearest signal yet if that recovery held, and whether premium brands defended share against domestic Chinese players.
Save the calendar. Playbook of Beauty will be tracking the results as they get published.
