According to data from Charm.io, which tracks key performance metrics for DTC brands online and on TikTok Shop, skincare sales on TikTok Shop in the US decrease 6% in August 2026 reaching $75.6m. Despite this overall category decrease some brands still experienced high growth on the platform. The top ten fastest growing brands (with at least $200k in cumulated sales for the last two months) all grew more than 50% month versus last month.

Asian beauty dominates the ranking. Four of the ten shops are South Korean brands: Eqqualberry, LANEIGE, Sungboon Editor and Madeca Derma. Add China’s Dr.Mopick and Japanese multi-brand retailer Osaka Ebisu, and Asian beauty accounts for six of the ten fastest-growing shops.
Among those, Sungboon Editor is the standout because it combined growth with scale. GMV rose 73% versus July to $1.4m, an increase of roughly $580k in one month. It is also the only name in this ranking to appear among TikTok Shop’s ten highest-selling skincare brands, at number five.
More generally, international brands took eight of the ten places of the ranking with only Point of View. and Glo Melanin being US-native. This shows TikTok Shop can become a serious US market-entry and customer-acquisition channel for overseas skincare brands, without the same initial dependence on Sephora, Ulta or other physical retailers.
As for makeup, the products winning are also not limited to low-priced impulse purchases. Australia’s Qure generated $670k, up 65%, with higher-ticket skincare technology including LED masks and micro-infusion devices. Creator-led demonstrations and visible before-and-after results can sell higher priced products too.
Finally, even if the ranking is dominated by newer independent brands, we are seeing legacy brands also rising on the platform with Olehenriksen (owned by LVMH) and LANEIGE (owned by Amorepacific) respectively first and sixth growing 130% and 87%.
